New category – The Law

P1221911

I have been thinking of expanding my blog with a new category and here it is – The Law. The Law will be a category where I will write about laws of any kind.

They could be international, federal, state, foreign, even court decisions, court procedures, bills, and so on. If you have any requests for me to interpret laws, and do a certain research on them, you can let me know about it on my Facebook page, my Twitter page or through my email. I hope I will be of help to you.

  1. Wonderful idea!
Yet, this is a colossal topic in and of itself. I have always been fascinated with The Law – an ingenious way of establishing and maintaining order and a hallmark of civilization. Still, the law can be such an elusive term sometimes. Where and how do you draw the line between ethical/moral and law-abiding? What fundamental principles do we build our judicial system around? Is it really better to let a hundred guilty men walk free than have one innocent man falsely convicted?(this is how our system operates right now)

I understand that legislators consider eliminating confessions from judicial proceedings. A criminal’s confession would not be used in court. Do you know anything about this? It is very interesting idea and I am curious to see the development.

  2. I haven’t heard about it. Does it have to do with the U.S. Constitution and the U.S. Supreme Court reviewing it? Or are you talking about Congress. Tell me more about it, and I will do a research on it.
